A slightly unusual game where the Hogs were initially bowled out for 104. Emeriti chased this down and at the end of the 20th over were 109-3 – it was only about 2pm!
The Emeriti captain, also a Hog, decided that they would bat on and declared at 292-9 at tea putting the Hogs back in for another innings to see if they could get to the Hogs score – at the end of the final 20 overs (at 6:40 pm with the scorer and umpires having thought they would have an early finish) the Hogs had made a further 156-8 still leaving them 32 runs of Emeriti’s first innings score.
