We have teams from Under 11, Under 13, Under 16 from where the Hoggets become Hogs and can play for either the Senior sides or the Academy (Under 25).
The whole ethos of the Hoggets is to come and play great cricket with friends in a beautiful location and for that to be a memory that lasts a lifetime.
The season starts in May with two days of Cricket (The Frank Higgs Day), with three inter club games at Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 age groups. With a steel band playing and a barbecue roaring the ground is packed with players, parents and their families.
Come the Summer holidays we have a Fixture List that is a combination of games playing other Clubs and Inter Club games, with prestigious games against the Babes of Kent, and the Sussex Martlets. Great clubs that we are proud to play and always want to beat!
Many of our Junior players play representative County cricket but Hogget cricket sits neatly alongside this and enables the children to play their cricket without the pressure that that can sometimes involve.
While Hoggets will play for other sides through their lives our ambition is that they always remain in their hearts a Hogget (and preferably a Hog!).
