Scorecard – Hampshire Hogs v I Zingari – 06.08.20
It was a game played in great spirits, as always against IZ. We posted a sub par 164. Ben Fraser made a fluent fifty and then sadly couldn’t resist trying to tuck into the leg spinner before he tucked into lunch and got caught in the final over before the break. We didn’t recover our momentum.
We started well in the field with a great opening spell from Tom Foster and Khaj Sharma applying pressure and making our total look some way off. However, some dropped catches (7 in total) gave IZ too many chances to reach our score and they got there 6 wickets down.
It was a very enjoyable game with. Fine young hog side. We will take revenge next year!
