What a terrific game of cricket today at Warnford. Our visitors turned up with a strong side and set a tough target from 45 overs of 263. Good to see Richard Norris bowling beautifully and being nominated at best hog fielder!
Captain Billy Mead made a stylish 110 leading from the front from 34/4 he was very well supported by Khajit and Archie. Sadly we fell 20 short at the end and a draw was a fair result. This was great advert for Hogs Cricket today.
Thank you to everyone involved. Umpires, scorer, our groundsmen for another really good wicket, John Parkinson on the bar and Rob White the Hon Sec who seems to be a fixture at the ground nowadays!
