The first home of the season and and we were greeted by a batting paradise – the outfield was immaculate and the wicket very flat. There was no surprises when we were146-0 at lunch and declared on 291-5, Harry Robson scoring 100 off 124 balls, and Ollie Kelly 101 off 115 balls.

The Amplefordians finished 42 runs short being bowled out with 3.3 overs to spare. Debutant George Bryans taking 5-59, ably supported by Khajit Sharma with 2-54, with one wicket apiece for Seb Norris, Mark G-D and Charlie Browne.
