The Hoggets U13 side proved too strong for Andover CC in a 25 over match at Warnford on 22nd August. After winning the toss, the Hoggets elected to bat and got off to a fine start with Ollie Wheeler (27 ret) and Ben Hardman (24) opening. Jorja Wright (27 ret) and Max Coles (23) kept the run rate ticking along and with other useful contributions from George Zawoda, Will Copson and Seb Rowland, the Hoggets reached 175 for 5 in their allotted overs . In response, Andover were on the back foot from the start, with Toby MacColl opening his bowling with a double wicket maiden and finishing with figures of 3 for 6. With tight bowling from the rest of the Hoggets team and fine wicket keeping from Seb Rowland, Andover finished on 62 all out, in the 21st over. Toby Hopton top scored for Andover with 22.
